Tips for your Shopify store

  • The Buzzfeed channel is best for stores that sell products in quantity. For example, if you sell a product like a unique iPhone case and you continually stock that product, Buzzfeed might be a good channel for you to use. However, if you sell one-of-a-kind items (like I do), Buzzfeed is probably not a good fit for you.
  • The Buzzfeed authors are writing about products they can create a “buzz” about. The readers of those articles will click on the items mentioned and hopefully the stores mentioned will sell lots of that one product. But if you only have a quantity of one of something, obviously only one person would be able to buy that item, so it would be harder for the Buzzfeed authors to promote that item.
  • The Buzzfeed authors are making a commission on the items they write about, so it only makes sense that they would choose products that are available in quantity.
