@2aemporium - I just posted information about Pocket in the #free-tools channel. I had posted information about it on the Facebook Group, but should have posted it here, too.

@jaydee I love Tweetdeck. I go into my Twitter feed. Scroll through what I want to see. Hit CLEAR and poof, it's all gone.

Twitter Update

Thought you might be interested...
I mentioned here in this thread that I was taking a new strategy with Twitter.

So far, I have mainly been focused on my Twitter account for TheDrawingBoard (@3DrawingBoard3). My goal was to tweet interesting articles, tips, and tricks that I've found to help other ecommerce business owners with their businesses.

I also was hoping to attract more Etsy shop owners that might be interested in getting started on Shopify. I created the hashtag #EtsyToShopify for this very reason, and use it pretty much all the time.

I've been working this Twitter account now every day for the past month and a half. I have definitely grown my followers in this time (from 0 - since it was a new account - to 86 people - give or take, since some follow, then unfollow, then follow again).

What I DIDN'T expect to happen, is that most of the followers are social media marketers that have their own businesses or blogs to help people with social media marketing. UGH! This is NOT the kind of followers I was hoping for!

I guess it's time to implement Plan B. I think I will start tweeting more of the blog articles I've written. Maybe THAT will attract ecommerce shop owners - specifically Etsy shop owners or even new Shopify store owners.

Who knows... maybe over the first three months of this new account, I will finally have the kind of followers I was hoping for. I sure am going to try to figure out a way to find them!

Has anyone else here tried a new Twitter strategy? How's it working for you?
