PINCODES
Are you using Pincodes with your Pinterest boards for your business?
To create a Pincode:
- Go to your Pinterest account on your computer
- Go to the board you want to create a Pincode for
- Click the icon at the top of that board that looks like a circle with little circles around it
- Click the Change Image button if you want to change the image for your Pincode
- Click the Download Pincode to download the graphic (similar to the one you see here)
To use a Pincode:
Upload your Pincode graphic to anything you want to share your Pinterest board - this could be in an emal to customers, it could be a graphic in a blog post, it could be a graphic made into a sticker for your packages, or even a graphic added to your packing slips - wherever you can use a graphic (be creative)!
Scan a Pincode:
To scan a Pincode, open the Pinterest App on your phone, then tap on the camera icon up in the Search bar of Pinterest. Aim your phone at the Pincode, and you will automatically be taken to the board the Pincode was made from.
Give it a try! This graphic goes to one of my vintage shop boards.
How will YOU use Pincodes with your shop?

@viyoli - Pincodes are like QR codes.
You scan them with your phone and they bring you to whatever Pinterest board you want.
If you open the Pinterest App on your phone, tap the camera icon on the Search bar, aim your phone at the Pincode graphic I posted, it will bring you to my Pinterest board automatically.
