IMAGE SIZE TIPS

When product images are shown side by side on collection pages, they might display in different sizes - depending on the size and aspect ratio of your image and/or how you edited the image. If you want your images to appear to be the same size, you need to use the same width to height ratio for your featured image.

NOTE: The first image of each product is known as the featured image. The featured image is not only shown on collection pages, but it is also used on the cart page, checkout page, and on your home page.

TIPS:

• When you add new products, you can either crop your featured image using whatever photo editor you use *OR* you can crop the featured image using the Image Editor in Shopify.
• If using the Image Editor in Shopify, choose the CROP tool, then scroll all the way to the right and use the largest square aspect ratio available to crop your image, then SAVE.
• You really only need to edit the featured image to have all your Collection Pages look uniform. The other images on the product listing page can be other sizes.

NOTES:

• Your product images can be any size up to 4472px by 4472px, or 20 megapixels. Product images need to have a file size smaller than 20 MB to upload to Shopify.
• Higher resolution photos will look more polished and professional to your customers, the suggested image size is 2048px by 2048px for square product images.
