MARKETING AUTOMATION ESSENTIALS

I posted in the #free-tools channel awhile back about *MailChimp* - a tool for ecommerce owners to use to gather email addresses from their visitors and customers, and then create customized email marketing messages to those customers.

There are several "how-to" articles on MailChimp for using automation with your marketing. This link goes to those help articles. You might want to start with the first article at the bottom of this page "What is Marketing Automation?", and then work your way backward from there.

Even if you are not using MailChimp, you might still gain knowledge from reading the articles that you could use with the email marketing program you are using.
